It may be that three semi-autonomous regions under a loose federal system [if something can be figured out to do with Baghdad] is a good way to go. Each region must be safe and secure and all Iraqis need to benefit from the oil money.
That's nice. Lemme guess, Americans get to do all the heavy lifting.
But it is not helpful for us to do more killing or breaking of things.
We don't have to. All we have to do is respect their mentality, their beliefs, their attitudes, their culture and they will do all the killing for us.
Is that what you really value? Killing?
