Many contractors, store owners, wine makers, fishing guides, fly rod makers, magazines, other former vendors and web sites, I used to buy products and services from, never get any business from me after they insulted my President in person, via email or via a vile letter to the editor in the local fish wraps. This is a lesson in survival, I learned from my Grand Dad and parents.
Love your tagline. I have stories to tell about the polling place I worked as an election official. But I'm not in the mood this week. My dog died on Monday, I feel like my country lost on Tuesday and I just can't seem to get my spirit back. Maybe when things calm down.
Interesting. That is exactly what I've been saying. The voters spoke and won. The non-voters did not speak...and lost. And many of the non-voters are the same people on this site crowing about teaching the GOP "a lesson". The only lesson is...if you don't vote you lose. The only people I'd send to retraining camp are the idiots who think that by not voting they taught anyone a lesson. Are you one of those people?

Re our polling place. That was the nicest thing of the day.
We had 15 pages of voting on our computer screens, and the great ladies where I signed in and I had a lot of fun joking while the computer caught up or I caught up.
This was the first time, there were Republicans at the sign in table. In previous times, the old hags at the tables reminded me of Helen Thomas.
In 2000, one tried to hide my paper ballot under the voting box after I handed it to her after voting. I caught her and woke up the Republican monitor. There were several ballots under the box. I told her she had 1 minute to get out of the polling center and stay out or I would arrest her and carry her down to the police station on the top of my OJ Simpson White Bronco. I stopped by the polling place about every 30 minutes to make sure she didn't return.

I remember one small business rat screaming, "I have a constitutional right to say whatever I want to about Hitler Bush!"
My reply was short and sweet. "You can make insane remarks like that all day. When people go else where to shop and purchase, they are doing what our constitution guaranteed."
He closed his shop in less than a year. His final stupid move was a big "No War for Oil" sign on his front door with GW with a Hitler mustache.
LOL! He stood by his beliefs even as his business went down the toilet.
I guess we have to give him a little credit for his perseverance, as misguided as it was.
I'm sure that he tells everyone that Bush's economy forced him out of business or our fairly new Walmart destroyed his business.
My standard line and not that funny of a joke to liberals who try to gut our president, "62 million of us voted for GW and still support him. Do you really want to pi$$ us off by insulting him? If so, can you keep your doors open without us?"
