He is a good man. Though he ran a bad campaign, I can't see how he can be blamed for the Republicans losing the senate. He only lost his seat. The blame belongs at the feet of the President and his advisers.

The blame lies with the dbm and scandal ridden Republican crooks. The dims will only be outed and prosecuted now that the election is over. The President turned out our base, but the dbm turned the independents to the left.

Let's also give a little credit to McCain, Specter, Hagel, Warner and Graham for their fine efforts in leaning over the side throwing grenades at the tires. If nothing else, they gave the DBM hours of great soundbites with which to beat us over the head. Other Republican? Senators also made valuable contributions to the Democrat cause - Ted Stevens with his "bridge to nowhere" and the Voinovich vote against confirming Bolton come to mind.
