Is he really so cuddled up to illegals and the businesses hiring him that he's willing to throw away his own party's chances of ever winning an election again?

I do not presume to understand W's motives in this. He has appeared to be too smart for such nonsense, but then there are certain signs of shortsightedness in his policies. His allowing us to get bogged down in a hearts-and-minds operation shows that he is quite blinkered as to the nature of our enemy and the patience of Americans when being constantly hounded by the inevitable pack of Liberal chihuahuas. I think the problem is that W is a Bush. His father, a very intelligent man, astute in business, showed a vast lack of understanding as to what politics is all about. He never understood that his actions and the actions of congress have real effects on real people.
