I hope those guest workers hang around the Crawford ranch. If there's any consolation it is that this scamnesty of Bush's gets passed under a democratic congress.

The Democrats will make sure they allow their political base into the nation as fast as possible to see that they never leave power again.

And with the permanent socialists in charge we'll end up like South America...

Now Bush can show his true colors: he's no Conservative.

Yes you can. The standard for impeachment is nebulous. You can easily make the argument that allowing an invasion of the country by illegal aliens is a high crime and misdemeanor. Alternatively, you could agree with the democrats with their Iraq war issues. All you need is the votes.

If conservative allow Bush to destroy the Republican party with his hispandering/amnesty efforts, we will have been a party to our own destruction.

Use the next two years to get real conservatives on the Republican party committees so that we can offer the voters a real conservative ballot with honest, real conservatives who WILL honor the Contract With America.

Take control of the Republican party from the CFR types like Bush.

don't count on us to be there for you when the Democrats come for your scalp.

Exactly! I would wholeheartedly support impeachment at that point, which seems inevitable. We can only hope the remaining Republicans and talk radio make enough noise about this.

I supported the President in 2004 because I was truly afraid of Kerry as Pres. Now I know that was the *only* reason.

The question, how important is his illegal alien plan to him?

Important enough that he sacrificed a lot of people in hopes of getting it passed.

I am worried about this also. Not only do we have to worry about millions of illegals coming in that this country has to support, but terries who will see this as easy access to the U.S. I was disgusted watching him get all happy on TV about this. You are right he couldn't hide his excitement. Shame on all those people who felt the need to punish Republicans by staying home.

Tends to imply to me that all the very supposedly very powerful conservative radio talk guys (Hanity, etc.), really don't have the influence that many think they do.

I think Bush should be impeached for that reason alone. I know it won't happen and now more than ever Bush is a useful idiot for the Democrats.

Although I agree with what you said by that point we will have another 1 million people coming in from south of the border to support. I remember reading an article about people who were trying to get across to the border in anticipation of amnesty and this was back in April. All this will bring is floods of more illegal immigrants into this country.

NO! Over our dead body... if you persist Mr. President, don't count on us to be there for you when the Democrats come for your scalp. This is a red line with the base. READ OUR LIPS, NO AMNESTY!

You got it! This is the real issue for impeachment!

IN VIOLATON OF THEIR OATH OF OFFICE

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion." Article IV Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution.

Each of these elected men and women swore on a Bible to represent Americans and uphold the Constitution. Today, the majority of these elected officials are in violation of their oath of office. Beyond this violation, with severe consequences for their law abiding U.S. citizen constituents—is the poor example they set-absence of honor and legality

I'd like to know how we have been fighting a war against terrorism in the name of U.S. security while in the meantime our borders here at home have remained wide open? Just how does that work exactly?

Perhaps, I should have said 'shouldn't'. Impeachment should be for high crimes etc. Impeaching a President because you disagree with him is stupid especially if he is in your own party. We will not always agree on everthing. Also, if you believe the Dems will impeach the Pres on the open borders issue, think again. They want open borders. They will impeach him on the Iraq war and by the time they are finished investigating every Republican, we will be lucky to win dog catcher in 2008. For those of you who stayed home because of the immigration issue, well you cut off your nose to spite your face. You got rid of people who were the only ones standing against amnesty- House Republicans.

But you can't half-impeach on one charge and other-half-impeach on another. That's like finding someone half guilty of theft and half guilty of forgery and sending them to jail for that.

I mean this in the most respectful way... you are insane. Impeachment of a Republican president would surely lead to massive losses everywhere. Also, it is just plain wrong.

Why not? If they can remove Bush, they can remove Cheney, too.
