You missed the entire point. First we must do to Iran, at least, what we did to Germany and Japan. Neither of those cultures was fired up by the kind of Faith that fuels the Saracens. The Communists have that sort of Faith but Communists also believe in Material Progress and the utter contradiction involved will end the Communist enterprise where it manages to control nations, if there is a freemarket competitor capable of(and willing) military self defense.
Islam provides no such material expectations and idealizes 7th century living. A totally beaten enemy, including a totally beaten population will be amenable to reconstitution. A Mohammedan society requires a more radical change than a NAZI or Communist society because the religion must be replaced as much as possible.
