Why can't we have a MILITARY MAN as Secretary of Defense? General? Admiral? Captain?

They need to be retired for at least 10 years. Federal law, though I cannot quote chapter and verse.

The bashers complainers whiners have no idea of the rules put in place by our constitution.

They don't understand posse comitatus, and they surely don't understand civilian rule of our military.
