Clinton fatigue had set in but when the Republicans tried to remove him from office over "sex", it annoyed alot of independent voters. (And yes, I know it wasn't about sex but that is what the majority of people believed.)
no way. Gore would have won in a landslide in 2000 - given the economy, if Clinton had simply been cruising along in his 2nd term.
