A large blessing, indeed. What a media sham he was.

Think about New Republican Congressional Leadership in Jan.

Think Democrats actually have to take the heat since they bring the Legislation to the floor now instead of just being able to blame everything on Repbos.

Don't know if the glass if half full but there are a few drops in it at least.

I remember after '02 he was the great "moderate" black hope. And last night, he was practically the only one on the Dems side to lose to a Republican.

"Working...lurking. Trying to buck up and look for the half-full glass..."

I've tried that for the past 6 years. The problem is, when opportunities to squash RATS leap out, Republicans fail every single time to take advantage of them.
I don't see where the needed intestinal fortitude to hold the RATS feet to the fire is going to come from. We need to retake the house within 2 years, (by exposing rotten RATS) that's exactly where we have failed in years past, and I don't see what's changed in that department. We don't have leadership capable of going on the offensive.

Sitting back and blaming the media and everyone else isn't going to get the job done for us. It has to come from a strong, determined leadership.
