Think about New Republican Congressional Leadership in Jan.

Think Democrats actually have to take the heat since they bring the Legislation to the floor now instead of just being able to blame everything on Repbos.

Don't know if the glass if half full but there are a few drops in it at least.

Definitely agree with your article.

However, in addition, I think it's way past time to expose the Dems closet on the world stage for ALL to see.

Let the electorate fully understand just what they elected.

How many Americans know of the dems heavy involvement with the Democratic Socialists of America for example.

This has been sugarcoated in the past and NEVER mentioned in the MSM (They have sucessfully hid it).

Time to let ALL of America know just what they elected. No Sugarcoating of it.

Am I disappointed? You bet.

Will I wallow in bitterness? Become dejected? No way.

I am optimistic in the American people. Yesterday was a setback (or throwback to the 1970's) in the Terror War, Iraq War, etc.. But it is only a setback.

Life goes on. The challenges are still before us and must be faced at as adults. As a conservative, I want to face them head on!

Ronald Reagan would call this Dem victory a result of the Post-Vietnam Syndrome. They win this round, but 2008 is around the corner and the terrorists will not go away.

It is time to teach the American people what is at stake. The teaching never stops. We must not give up. Dems give up and surrender.

America is not a country that gives up! That is the lesson that must be taught.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are about to get an OMG-eye opener from President Bush on the terrorist situation that will make both of them afraid of their shadow...

Me to, and I'm surprised as well. Sometimes you need the time to step back and really survey the situation before you can make a good judgment on events. This is just such a case. We must get back to our Conservative roots, and today this very moment is not too soon. The election of 2008 starts today folks. We have two years to show a clear distinction between a more Conservative, fiscally and socially, Republican Party and the socialist demoncrat party. It's an opportunity folks, and one that we should dedicate ourselves to starting today!

(Democrats) "Be careful demoncrats (sp intended) in what you ask for because sometimes you get it."

That's been my thinking. I'm almost anxious to sit back and see what happens with these wingnuts in power.

On another note, our wonderful State elected our first femal governor and she's a very conservative republican. Go Alaska! And we defeated that idiotic gas line tax. Yes!

No! The so called Dinosaur media DID it! The bastards are still alive and well....AND POWERFUL! We under estimated their power! DEAD? I don't think so! The RNC never fought back. Hastert was out there defending a CRIMINAL who got caught red handed, while demanding Foley to resign! The list is long...but the BACKBONE of the pubs is short! I comfort myself with the thought that GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL and soon the RATS will be exposed for what they really stand for....GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS and God bless FreeRepublic! The only place of refuge!

Rush was sorta off on this election, wasn't he? Maybe a little too optimistic? The polls turned out to be correct.

PLEASE, Rush, PLEASE

DO NOT make excuses like: the media conned the voters into believing Iraq is lost and the economy stinks when all is really rosy....

DO NOT make excuses like: there was rampant voter fraud and the Dems stole the election

DO NOT just whitewash this election as an aberration. We got whipped. Big Time.

PLEASE tell us the way FORWARD and the way for us to regain Congress in two years. Give us a platform and a means to be positive again,,,

PLEASE

I hope Rush begins his show mocking Democrats and the MSM for all their bogus belly aching about maniacal electronic voting machines stealing the election.
