Thirteen-term Congressman Clay Shaw's loss to a particularly unworthy opponent is truly shocking, and signals something quite ominous for Republicans. The premier enclave of the mega-wealthy, Palm Beach, voted in a Democrat, and a demonstrably sleazy one at that. If the guys who write the checks are going to start voting Democratic, the Grand Ol' Party may as well hang it up.
