He shouldn't have to! Any person with any intellengce at all knows why. Besides, the President has explained it over and over.

I'd bet not one in a hundred American citizens even know those Iraqi documents exist, let alone have any idea whatsoever what they contain. The media has convinced these people that the WMD argument was a lie and they have convinced these people that Saddam was in no way a threat to this country.

It just boggles my mind that the administration failed to take advantage of the wealth of damning information in those documents. The first time most Americans ever heard of them was from the New York Times. That's just amazing! All the vague generalities about "evil doers" are fine, but people do respond to facts, and they're just not getting them.

When someone calls me a liar, I defend myself. Bush just acts like the lies are true.

Sorry if I'm Bush bashing this morning, but he deserves it. This election was, in large part, a referendum on his performance, whether you choose to believe it or not.

You nailed it. Bush let the Dems and MSM lie and lie and lie about him. If you don't answer a lie, eventually it becomes perceived truth. The vast majority of people don't pay attention to these things like we do. But they're fed up with the war because they've been told it's lost and 3000 of our finest have died for nothing. They want to stop the dying. They're not analyzing any deeper than that.

The President is operating in a media propaganda campagain like we've never seen before. Combine that with the amount of un-educated, uninterested, dumbed-down American voters who only have learned to "hate the war" and don't realize the ramifications of defeat in Iraq, and we have what we have this morning.
