THis goes far beyond the war in Iraq. The Cut'n'Run crowd and the "Lesson Teachers" have delivered thier message and it has been heard loud and clear. and they have said:
AMERICA - We want a more liberal government, moderates you are now free to move to the left, we want higher taxes, we want judges who will never repeal Roe v Wade, we want judges who will completely remove god from the country, we want a weak military, we want socialist programs, WE WANT ANOTHER TERRORIST ATTACK and we want HILLARY CLINTON to be the next President."
Yep, be careful what you ask for BECAUSE YOU JUST GOT IT!!!!!!
The best we can now hope for is John McCain, Rudy Guiliani or Mitt Romney as President. WHy do I say that -- BEcause when the Terrorists attack us again (probably within the next 6 months), IT WILL BE BLAMED ON THE PRESIDENT. When the economy tanks in the year or so, IT WILL BE BLAMED ON THE PRESIDENT. When taxes go up and gas hits $3, IT WILL BE BLAMED ON THE PRESIDENT.
And as a result, more Democrats , and HILLARY THE BITCH QUEEN will be elected in 2008.
Hillary won't win the Presidency. There's a reason why she went after a seat from NY and not somewhere else (even her home state or adopted home state). If anything, she would motivate many people to vote against her, who might not vote otherwise.
I'm predicting we end up with massive gridlock (which isn't necessarily bad), or we end up with things that Republicans didn't like but that Bush wanted (Bush's guest worker program, closer relations with Mexico, etc), being passed (which is not good, but was inevitable).
