Yes, it was real easy for the Dems to say that the Republicans sucked at everything, but they didn't even offer their own solutions. That's what makes this victory of theirs so disgusting.

I found it so frustrating how many people I talked to, especially those with no party affiliation, whose opinion of things basically boiled down to, "Things suck." With no ideas of why they suck, what exactly sucked, or what they would want to see done instead.

Yup, it'll take someone special to turn that around. We both suspect Nancy Pelosi ain't that someone.

I don't think anyone currently associated with this administration - VP Cheney, Sec'y Rice, Amb Bolton, whoever - can be that someone, either; I'm afraid they're all damaged goods now.
