Bitter sweet for me .. the republicans haven't done anything I'm proud of ... hopefully this is a kick in the nuts for the republicans to stop chasing the idea of outlawing abortion and same sex marriage and get back to the ideas that put them in power in '94 ... yes lower taxes and reduce the size of government ... they got the lower taxes part right, but they have increased the size of government as any liberal would have done.
btw is all these races decided by exit poll data or is there some real counting going on?

The taxes are not all that much lower.
It is Bush's view that 'named' players recommended to him should do the policy making. And he is not so good at getting the right people in the right positions to effect real changes.
The people he surrounded himself with have had no consistent philosophy.
People want real tax reform. Instead they get a more aggressive IRS hellbent on extracting more taxes to close a bloated budget. Audits are up.
People want real border control. Instead they are told illegal aliens are undocumented immigrants who deserve a chance at citizenship.
