I think you are right. They are bound to turn all that vitriol into action. And by action, I mean anything that will hurt Christians, Israel, the oil business (oh hell, business in general), the middle class tax base, and hundreds of other causes and individuals.
The Dems have tasted blood and it is going to get just as "ugly" as anyone can imagine. If they institute their version of "immigration reform" conservatives may NEVER win another election. My hubby is already convinced it will never happen again "in his lifetime".

I have said for a while that a dem House with over 230 seats is a powerful mandate to get us out of Iraq and quickly, and that winning the House back, even in a completely fair atmosphere, wouldn't happen for quite a while.
The 'lets teach them a lesson now and win big in 2008' petulant minority is living in fantasyland. We can turn around a Dem House with a 5 or 10 seat advantage. It appears they have over a 30 seat advantage.
We won't be able to turn that around barring some remarkable outside influence(s).
