No I don't see what you mean. I voted straight GOP and conservative tickets.
I am grateful that we have GWB instead of Gore or Kerry.
But losing the House is painful for me and GWB has some responsibility in that unfortunately.
He and his father are not my favorites but they are preferrable to anyone the democrats can field. RR was the greatest in my lifetime.
Bush has been a good placeholder president that has faced many challanges and was by far the best man for the job, but we know he's basically a Rino elite. His dad ran out of gas about 2 years into his term, W about year 3. We need to dig deep and find true headbanging conservatives. Moderation is a nation killer.

When I started explaining the differences, my daughter (with special needs - brain damage) says to me. Oh, the democrats want the US to be like China where everything is equal. Then she asked if they wanted to make it so that you could only have 2 kids.
My other daughter just looked shocked when I explained about gay marriage.
Both of them said they were definitely republicans.
