It is not the conservatives that didn't come through. It's the moderates. They stabbed the GOP in the back---again.
I disagree, it's GWB who has both excessively polarized our party and scraped & curtsied to the crazies on the fanatical religious fringe whose intent was (and probably remains) to replace the U.S. Code and state statutes with an American theocracy.
