I think that news outlets are fragmented. It's fairly easy to find the type of news that fits pre-conceived notions. And for all I know there's a portion of the population reading news into re-runs of Starsky & Hutch.
Talk to a liberal and they'll tell you the media is owned by Big Business that backed the Republicans.
That's only because the MSN isn't flashing big, wqving bar & sickle flags and running replays of old Stalin speeches.
