TAlent 749,011 50%
McCaskill 701,924 47%
71% reporting --- this is with St. Louis City 95% in.
Just did a quick County by County -- of the ones with Partials in -- if they stay the same McCaskill will pick up 40,000 Votes from them
That will put it within 10,000 Votes
The following counties have 0% reporting --
Clay, Douglas, Hickory, Jasper, Maries, Pemiscot, Polk, Ray
Where are those counties and what are thier demographics?

Clay is suburban KC but more blue collar then White. Not sure of the rest. If as much of St. Louis is in and Jackson County (KC) then Talent could be ok

Douglas, Hickory, Jasper and Polk counties are in the beautiful and conservative SW Missouri Ozarks.
There is hope.
Clay is a bitch.

Clay includes the Northern Kansas City suburbs - population 202,000. Douglas is in SW Missouri, near Branson, population 13,500. Hickory is in SW Missouri, population 9,250. Jasper is in SW Missouri and includes Joplin, population 110,500. Maries is in Central Missori, population 9,000. Pemiscot is in SE Missouri on the Mississippi River, population 19,500. Polk is in SW Missouri, north of Springfield, population 29,000. Ray is northeast of Kansas City, but more rural, population 24,000.
I'd expect Jasper and the SW and SE Missouri counties to swing for Talent. Clay will be marginal or slightly against Talent.

this is with St. Louis City 95% in. Those numbers are encouraging. However, after what just happened to Allen my optimism is tempered.
