The GOP needs to learn how to play ball. The loss of Delay's seat and Foley's show that they need to man up and start playing the game, and not pretending like they are above it all.

What a debacle this election night has been and a warning to us all.

The terrible power of mass communication....reaching so many in the privacy of their own homes with a repetitve, sensory-rich drum beat of cheery anchors, entertainment-laced programming "news"--addictive stuff designed to keep us lazy enough to buy what is dispensed to us.

We are increasingly an instant, just-add-water culture. Our thinking is done for us, no need to read beneath the headlines--it's all prepackaged for us by the MSM.
