Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
I just turned it off myself. Especially after the Mendendez early projection. I'm sticking with FR.
I believe the Allen/Webb race will be reflective of the overall national results.
Does anybody know how absentees are counted? And how does exit polling figure absentees? Do they adjust for the larger # of absentees? It would be interesting to know if in TN, which early showed Corker ahead counts absentees on the front end or back end, and what about other state?
Ohio polls supposed to close at 7:00; Cleveland open until 9:00. No counting until then.
But Blackwell concedes at 9:00. Sheesh!
This looks like another good thread to check in on. So I got my radio going an AOL chat and a couple of threads to check on. Many happy returns, all.
"Don't you just hate it when Bernie Sanders wins in VT."
They're breaking out the dope in celebration.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hillary OY oh yes I feel better already. Dam NY and NJ inner city transplants are invading NEPA.
uh oh, cat fight between Matthews and Scarborough. Scarborough insulted when Chrissie called him a partisan Republican. What a disgraceful jerk.
Without Ford, I'm pretty sure the Dems can't get a Senate majority.
They can, but they'd need both Virginia and Missouri plus Montana and Rhode Island for an outright lead, as well as holding Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota and Washington. I still think we hold the Senate with room to spare.
Not so sure what is going on with the House-- a lot of very close races...

Good, Mr. Hume is saying that they have been burned by exit polls before (2000, 2002 and big time in 2004). I'm glad he added that historical perspective.
What is the ratio of repub/dem that use absentee ballots vs. going to the polls on election day?

Oh gawd....who invited them to the election day whoop-la? Now I'm glad I didn't read all the posts on this thread. I hate to start of the evening being mad. It's only 5:00 p.m. here in Alaska.
You too?
I e-mailed Brit and told him to quit passing along bogus exit polls disguised as election returns.
Why don't you wait to see whether or not they are correct before making such a statement?
Grrr. Is another Libertarian moron going to spoil it?
