Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
AMEN to that. Wasting cash in the NYC and Philadelphia markets on a RINO to defeat a crook in Soprano-land was a stupid, stupid move.
We always get suckered into Jersey. The polls showed that Bush had a chance there in 2004, but it never materialized. The urban cities in Jersey are cesspolls of RAT waste and corruption.
Cheryl Cox!! WOO-HOO!
Brian winning big? GREAT!
Fights what?
Heath Schuler of UT Football? I wondered where he was.
Burns is hangin' in --- MAYBE?
It's very late, we're very tired and emotionally spent, and it's very irritating on the eyes. I join with others requesting that you PLEASE STOP the large fonts. Thank you.
"Did you see what Bush is going to do next? Negotiate with the RATs on illegal immigration. Thanks, third-party voters for costing us Montana and Missouri. Thanks, Repubs who sat this one out to "send a message." Message received, and it means amnesty."
Agreed. Bush probably wants to clean up this issue before the 2008 election so Romney, Guiliani or McCain won't have to deal with it.
Umm last time I checked the President is the leader of the party.
And if we are only talking about the party leadership, they aren't all necessarily running for office.
They ran as moderates, but they sure ain't moderate.
Yes, the former pro QB.
Its gonna be interesting in 2008 that's for sure. Maybe the NRC was right when they went to bat for incumbents and more moderates like the one seat, district 8, in AZ.
At least we know that Allen won't be on the Presidential ticket.
Tester is leading by 4610 votes. Yellowstone County is recounting, still zero'd out.
Allen has a small chance.
If the absentee ballots pull him close enough, and there's a recount/extended battle, that could - depending on how it went - put him back into contention.
Exactly. Thanks to a few third-party Republicans sending the Senate a message, we're about to have Majority Leader Reid. Thanks for nothing.
Who ran as a moderate?
Not Brown in Ohio.
Not Menendez in NJ.
Not Cardin in Maryland.
And guess what one of the first things on their laundry list is going to be?
Apparently it is lost on you though. If a person isn't going to vote for the republican anyway, it makes no difference in the race if he stays home or votes 3rd party. The only way the person would help the democrat is to actually vote for him.
For the 3rd party voters, since they voted for neither democrat or republican, they didn't affect the race.
Many here on FR are confused to the point that they think the rest of the world mirrors FR. Your main goal may be to defeat democrats but to third party voters, there isn't any difference between the GOP and the Dems.
2. If the White House had made the nation feel at war in terms of sacrifice (like perhaps a mass effort to wean ourselves off of oil thus pushing down the price of oil and squeezing our enemies around the world) rather than just asking everybody to go shopping and be afraid than perhaps your argument would be more valid.
3. The stay at home or teach the GOP a lesson folks are no better than the democrats they helped to elect. You answered my question here. You clearly don't believe in democracy.
One and the same.
His district was Asheville, where all the liberals are moving.
