Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
:-)
I was talking about their plan to win the WOT. The one they always said they had but woukkd never divulge.
Now is when we find out if the "conservative" democrats really are conservative. If this is the case, it might not be as bad a ride as many imagine. However, I'll wait and see.
Once they come to Washington, they'll fall in line right behind Pelosi and The Swimmer.
She has been sounding more conservative lately -- I know she isn't pro-life.
Yeah, I think she's very hot, especially when she doesn't speak.
Look I dont like moderates myself but thats why the politics is heading. Conservatives are not a winning majority by themselves and there are too many divisions within our ranks ( fiscal versus social versus libertarian etc). The party has to refocus and regroup and find a winning message, structurally Republicans have to re group.
Just wanted to elaborate.
2007-the government will permit income splitting for pensioners whereas spouses have unequal pension income, so one can end up paying far more in taxes than the other. With income splitting, the overall tax load can fall providing more than $1-billion in tax relief per year--Federal Finance Department.
Now the future for trusts in funds is another ball of wax.
The two guys in GA 8 and GA 12 especially Marshall, I don't think will vote for Pelosi for speaker but we'll see.
First let me say if it comes down to Rudy or McINsane Well OK you can figure where my vote goes.
However lets not nominate anyone tonight. In fact I want to know more about the guy who was featured on 60 minutes last Sunday.
He stood up in congress and questioned EVERYONES earmarks.
Now this is all I know about him but I can say that kind of thinking makes me tingle all over.
Somone who actually questions spending in Congress.
What a freaking concept. Color me "down wit dat!"
I agree- she IS hot
Well, we had 12 years, and, we never really had a substantial change in the tax code, for example.
Bush 1 had it coming. Bush 2 had it coming. They both needed to find something that would sell. Some new domestic policy idea especially.
I agree the security effects will be devastating, but at least the President has more independent Constitutional power in this area.
I know but it wasn't my writing/spelling. I was replying to the reply.
And that may be the silver lining in all of this.
The Congress actually may have a slight shift to the Right with Democrats forced to run more moderate candidates then the ones that they beat.
[You'll vote for McCain because McCain can stop a total GOP meltdown in 2008.]
No I won't.
No... effing.... way!
I don't listen to Savage, I don't like psychotics.
I am not a one issue conservative, and I am not a "conservative". I voted straight R as always. What have I said that got your lingerie in a knot?
