Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
¿Que?
If it's Hillary vs. McCain, Hillary will win.
Cut the crap re Allen.
In a Blue State. What do you expect?
I feel for you but heres whats been going on with me..i'm not sure I love modern america...even bush plays it down the middle...the govt, fed and local just keeps growing and growing...meddling more and more...i think i love an america that was...i've had this feeling for sometime, perhaps the last 10 to 15 years...We don't kniow the basics anymore...such simple things as kill your enemy in time of war..we impress no one with our precision strikes and lack of collateral damage...not even ourselves....its been over since before W...actually i think that the days of the nation state are numbered.....the masses will be controlled with bread and circuses and an iron fist...AMERICA as she was rivaled Rome....It was fantastic!
Elections, voting, and the entire biennial civic ritual are just elaborate mechanisms of social control. "See, the people have spoken"- yet the choices are always framed in such a way that the results eventually come out just as planned.
DeWine didn't help himself with that Gang of 14 crap.
He should have run for Governor.. I, for one, really hoped he would and now...
Webb winning in VA.

Dewine doesn't have the charisma that Santorum has. He may run again, but it will be harder for him to win.
Relax...VA and MD are still in play.
Why?
It's more of a "bloodletting" than a bloodbath. This will give the GOP a chance to get their act together for 2008.
Yep .. it's all part of that lesson were are suppose to learn by losing the GOP control
You get the award for the stupidest damn post of the night.
Allen is still ahead with over 2000 with 1% left.
LOL!!! You are right..hadn't thought of it that way!!
Sorry I have to ask: Have you been drinking?
That's what I meant to say: show them the cost to them personally, and they will care.
If I recall correctly, the 1982 midterms under Reagan's watch saw 26 seats go to the Dems, and there was no war for the dems to use as fodder then.
This hurts tonight, but from a historical perspective it isn't bad at all. In fact, if I was a Dem strategist I wouldn't be dancing in the streets tonight.
