Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
You could be objective, or hurl insults, your choice.
Or maybe just fall back on their swords.
Any criticism for those who voted for the democrats?
Webb will ask for a recount , and it will get Ugly, but that is too many votes for the Dems to Manufacture.
Corker looks to be in Great Shape in Tenn.
Steele still has an outsaide chance, and Burns also has a shot.
Worst case it is 51-47-2.
Good luck with that. In the Senate, we lost one of our brightest conservative stars on the judges issue, Rick Santorum. We're in danger of losing even more seats as the returns from the Midwest come pouring in.
Alas, tonight, Rove was a lot less than "magnificent". To think that Karl Rove was outmaneuvered by Rahm Emanuel/Chuckie Schumer is just unbearable.
All 133,000 of them. I'm only a little worried.
It's time for the Republican Party to send out the Batsignal for Rudy Giuliani.
Otherwise we might end up with President Clinton, Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Mikulski in 2009.
Good night Peach. I'm going to pray and then to bed.

Losing J D is a disaster. But then, I don't know what the GOP expected with 500,000 illegals here in Arizona. Did they really think this would remain a red state?
US House District 7-
Total Reporting:1%
Ed Perlmutter (D) 45,184 56%
Rick O'Donnell (R) 34,779 42%
Dave Chandler (G) 1,133 1%
Roger McCarville (A) 1,113 1%
Again, lots of trouble with percentages from the experts, I would guess those numbers reflect at least 30% of the vote, not 1%.
I've been hoping for what....a Webb victory? Get over yourself and look at every post I've made ever since being on this forum....some people.
Now there's an oxymoron if I ever heard one... You SURE he's intelligent?
:-)
Missouri or Montana....need one of those two...
You mean like J.D. Hayworth and Rick Santorum?
"Conservatives" lost tonight: big time

Shhhhhush --- don't try to tell that to denydenydeny.
Well ... the trues wanted to teach us all a lesson
Hope they can live with it now
McCain doesn't have a lock on the nomination.
>>>Clintonista Machichine attack, of course. <<<
That is pure BS. It was the G.W. BUSH "Justice Department" that came after Weldon two weeks before the election.
Jim Ryun is giving his concession here in KS...a District there is no way in hell we should have lost..
Oh Great, now his wife is quoting scripture and the annointing power of Christ
(he had been painted as part of the "religious loony/Jesus Freak/anti-evolution crowd by Boyda)
And he was in trouble back in March...didn't believe it until last friggin week!
So now I have a liberal democrat as my congressman.
This is one reason why I left California!
If the remaining Prince William precincts are similar to the ones already counted, Webb will tighten it a bit more (to ~4000 votes), but will not overtake Allen.
In any case, it's a nail-biter. Recount will take weeks...
Well now Webb is ahead and all that is left are dems. Allen might be able to ask for recount.
"Independent is code for left wing leaning Dem."
No, it is not.
Just do the math.
35% Republican registration.
35% Democrat registration.
The other 30% are Independents.
If what you said were true, Republicans would be in a hopeless minority everywhere, every election.
But they are not.
They aren't because Independents are independent.
They don't like either party enough to join.
They vote the way they think is best.
Tonight, they voted against the Republicans.
In 2004, 2002 and 2000, they voted with them.
If they were left wing leaning Dem, the Republicans would never have any hope.
Republicans cannot win relying on just Republicans. They have to have broader appeal.
