I appreciate your thoughts on that and I'll agree too, to a point. When you don't protect the states against invastion though, it's tough to call a person principled, especially when they swore an oath to do so.

Frankly, if I understand your point, I disagree. The President resisted the popular call to close our borders dispite knowing it would cost him. What would have motivated that if not principle? But the fact is there have been no terrorist attacks on American soil since 2001. The President must be doing something to "protect the states." To be so strongly opposed to the President over this one issue is self-defeating.

I can not believe Granholm got re-elected. DeVos should have trounced her on business and jobs alone.

People had issues with some of the things DeVos was going to cut spending for...like assistance for people with disabilities. Jenny won't have much power IF the legislature is Pubbie. She'll just sit there and look pretty.

I've had deer (got a freezer full right now) and moose, but never had caribou. I've heard it's good if it's cooked right. I've also heard it can be dry if you don't incorporate some gravy or basting or cook it in water/broth in a crock pot or something.

Take a look at this thread and you'll see lots of people blaming the loss on us conservatives instead of admitting to themselves that some of the Republicans' attempts to go Left failed big time and cost them this election.

That's the kind of interpretation and advice that led the Democrats to losses in 2002 and 2004.
