Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
U.S. Senate - New Jersey
U.S. Senate 50.2% of 6,345 precincts reporting
Candidate Party Vote Count % Votes Cast
Bob Menendez (I) Dem 505,601 52.3%
Thomas Kean GOP 441,866 45.7%
For anyone question how networls are calling races with the GOP candidate in the lead---they look at the precincts that have NOT reported, check what the Dem did in the last election, and project, based on turnout/exit polls how that precinct is going to go this year.
Now, if the exit polls are screwy, these calls can be screwy.
Steele could be up, but it could be all GOP areas that have reported.
They're gonna steal it, aren't they?
CNN calling Cardin (D) over Steele (R) in MD even though their raw vote total has Steele in lead. CNN calling Lieberman (I)
over Lamont (D) in CT w/ 13 per cent reporting. What if
Schlesinger wasn't in race?
Lieberman
(Incumbent) 55,450 46%
Democratic Lamont
51,209 43%
Republican Schlesinger
11,396 10%
Allen leads by 1,333 votes.
The last 40 precincts have went 6,500 for Webb.
G F Allen Republican 966,232 49.43%
J H Webb Jr Democratic 964,899 49.37%
86.66 precincts. Webb has been closing in. Don't know where the remaining precincts are.
where are they getting that from?
from the VA live thread, with 85.43% reporting, Allen leads by 6000 votes.
One more time, how will Burns lose his senate seat in Montana?
I can't believe this either. None of the libs I knew were voting for O'Malley. At least he won't be here in the city anymore. And for those on FR who complained that they weren't voting for Ehrlich because he wasn't conservative enough, they now get the gift of O'Malley.
I agree. The RATs won't be able to pass much. Where it will hurt us will be in getting a budget passed and with the investigations they will no doubt launch.
i got no problem with spewing it since its mostly true i got a problem with idiots still falling for it and whining instead of doing something
VA SEN [86.66% IN]
ALLEN 966,232 49.43%
WEBB 964,899 49.37%
Maps, eh? Where are you getting them?
I hear ya!
Because we have a media environment that if you make news, be it true or not, it doesn't matter so long as you are FIRST to report it.
I think Darkwolfe and I are running off together...want to come along? The truth is from my own experience working with a few liberal woman...they do not and they do not care what the politician is all about or what the issues are all about...they only care about swapping recipes and sharing curtain designs. I'm serous!
Heaven help our troops if the dems cut off their funding, and heaven help the Iraqi's and the rest of the middle east if we desert Iraq.
