Taft killed off the party for another decade.
That's the ugly truth.

No numbers from New Hampshire, but this from Foster's Daily Democrat (Dover, NH paper)
With 39 percent of precincts counted in the 1st District, Democratic challenger Carol Shea-Porter was leading Bradley, 51 to 49 percent. Those figures include Manchester, where Bradley won by about 500 votes, and Rochester, Somersworth and Dover, where Shea-Porter won big.

yup!I must say, I have a big smile on my face whenever I see you or Petronski post to each other, or hellinahandcart and sauropod, and now we have Mad Ivan and Mrs Ivan, and I'm sure there are many I've missed. :)
Btw, speaking of love connections on FR, I hope I didn't mess up the screen names. :) My apologies if I did.

Doyle wins by exit polls over runner up Green(R) for WI Gov.
Mark Green said " If exit polls where right Al Gore would be Pres." LOL. This is from local NBC news.

G F Allen Republican 858,105 49.68%
J H Webb Jr Democratic 848,445 49.12%
77% precincts reporting
Also, I believe the tightning is becasue a bunch of remaining Fairfax Cnty precincts just reported. Their are about 12 precincts left in that county.
To: motife
That narrowing was Fairfax Co coming in. This is looking to be very close, but I think Allen wins it by ~1%.
To: JerseyDvl
Does anyone know which precincts have reported in Virginia?
