If Allen still has presidential aspiations after tonight, he needs to get himself a whole new PR team.
I'm not even thinking about 2008. Let's get him back in the Senate first. If he wins, he'll have an entire year to put Macaca-gate and the rest of this mud behind him and decide if he still wants to try it. It wouldn't surprise me if he said "the hell with it" after this campaign and stayed in the Senate for his full six.
