I went to vote around 4:00 in my precinct in tiny Melfa, Virginia. They said turnout had been fairly high and that the polls had been busy most of the day. I did my duty and voted against that pervert Webb and gave George Allen and Thelma Drake my vote. Virginia also had a "gay marriage" amendment, which basically was to amend the state constitution to ddfine marriage as a union between one man and one woman. To me, that was more significant than either of the congressional races. The media hadn't mentioned much about that.

I spent last weekend in Melfa. I got to see some of the towns around there on Atlantic and Chesapeake side. Beautiful country and quaint towns. What a neat place to live! Where do you vote?

I am in GA and the weather was bad, but the turnout in my precinct looked pretty good. I have been really optimistic, because the Media tries to scare you and they are so often wrong, but right now I think my blood pressure is rising and I probably ought to just hibernate until I know the results are in.

I voted around 9:30 in Oak Hall. That preceinct has 1101 registered voters, I was over the 200th voter. 20% that early is good!!!!
