They have NOTHING to base their predictions on except exit polls at this time. It wouldn't matter if it was Hume saying it. There are no real numbers yet. There is absolutely no reason to get discouraged until real results come in.
I want to beat the donks as much as anyone.
Even more, I want to watch the MSM's collective heads explode!
But at this time in '04 Rove, Mehlman et al were SCREAMING at the networks about their exit polls. It wasn't until about 6:30 CT that Fox started hedging their reports with doubts about the exits.
I'm not hearing the screaming this time. It sounds to me like Major and other reporters are getting a glum message out of GOP HQ.
I haven't given up...and neither should anyone who hasn't voted!
