My wife voted in suburban Chicago today for the Roskam-Duckworth race. My wife teaches piano to children with Down syndrome and autism and she said that people in the disabled community can't stand Tammy Duckworth. She said they don't talk about it much because they don't want to come off as being mean people but she said they'd show their displeasure at the polls. We live in a neighborhood with a number of Roskam supporters and she said she ran into a number of them at the polls this morning.

Duckworth will probably win this one but I think sometimes Republicans just keep their mouths shut because they don't feel like getting slammed by the stupid libs. They aren't afraid to go vote, however.

That's right. Don't know why, but if I get into a political discussion with more than one lib at a time, I always come out looking like the bad guy. Even when they begin the discussion. So I keep my mouth shut and pull the lever for Republcians. For the last eight years, I've seen Republican wins and libs arguing among themselves.
