I just finished voting in a small county at the National Guard Armory. Already 300 votes were cast with people still streaming in through the doors. Of course my state will be going primarily republican. I voted straight ticket. Generally I vote individuals, but the dims have made me so angry I voted straight republican.
Me too - sometimes I'll go for a dem or two, but I'm as mad as you are - I voted straight Republican. Thanks John Kerry, for reminding me of dem's true colors...
Hubby (reg. Dem!)and I went and voted in our small rural community (pop.300?)here in Tex. When we entered the polling place we were informed that it would take 15 to 20 min. as one of the two electronic voting machines was out of order. There was about 8 people waiting and knew most of them so had a good time waiting. Was approached by the poll judge to become a Republican poll for the next election! I told her to give them my name and she said she would. Both hubby and I voted straight Republican ticket! I'm proud of him as he usually splits his ticket but he said he couldn't stomach the Dems this year! (they got the other voting machine fixed while we were waiting)
I did the same during early voting, except that I took the time to also go thru and mark/select each Rep name using the E-Slate machine. I took great pleasure in punching that enter button while I pictured the ugly pusses of Nancy Pelosi, Dirty Harry Reid, Hanoi Kerry, Teddy 'Hic' Kennedy and various media slimes like Al Franken and others. I'm surprised one of the volunteers didn't come over and mention that there was no need to punch the button that hard....hehe.
