Well I early voted and I didn't have to wait in any long line, lol! When I voted last week there were at least 2 other people voting, but no line and a bunch of senior citizens sitting around yapping away while working.
This morning I drove by the voting place in my precinct near my sons school and there were a lot of cars parked and people walking in and out to vote. I live in a mostly Republican area so that is good.
I haven't voted yet, but It will be so easy ..Just to mark that Straight Republican Ticket arrow.
Mrs. Sine_Nomine and I voted one hour after the polls opened. There was no line, but checking in was slow. My prediction is that turn-out will be light. The ballot had four sides (and was very long - Arizona). The props were so varied and confusing that my wife and I took prepared cheat sheets. Even then she muffed two votes. Since this was a complete the line ballot, she had them nullify those two votes.
I think interest is rather low, frustration with the voting process high, so I expect relatively few votes overall.
I am still expecting the GOP to hold the Senate and the House with losses in the margin in both places. If things go badly, I hope this will spur real conservatism in the GOP instead of RINO yakking about compassion.
Whoah! Can Nancy Pelosi and her crew be so close to a voting location? I thought there were laws against that! :-)
I voted early as well. The lines were longer than in the Bush-Kerry election.
I think early voting favors the rats. Lots of retired and apparently unemployed folks in there.
