I just went to the grocery store in a neighboring town (Napoleon Mi.) and saw that the parking lot of the township office was packed with at least 100 cars. On a normal day 10 or 15 cars is a lot.
Looks like a big turnout in this rural area.
I voted absentee in PA. I just moved so I don't know what the turn out is there today. It's a rural area. Turn out was high in 04....One thing I'll never forget was the Amish guy who parked his horse and buggy downtown, jaywalked through town and crossed through yards to get to the polling place. He walked like a man on a mission. It was something to behold.
I voted in Plymouth Township, MI (western suburb of Detroit) at 2:15. It didn't take long, but the poll workers said they had never seen a turnout like this. I was #363. I think Plymouth township went for Bush in 2004. Bush won the City of Plymouth by something like 5 votes!
