To bad everyone can't have our experience. Hubby and I walked into the polling place (Bapt Church) to be greeted by name. Chatted with poll workers for awhile. Voted on computer screen. They had scan codes on every name in the book which we signed and we were given the scan code ticket. After voting we returned the ticket to the poll worker. I asked about the machines and was told that there are 5 ways to keep them honet. A paper record, 5 cards, the scan ticket and a couple of other things I forget. It's great to live in a small town.

I was at my voting place at 7:00 am - small township in NE Ohio. I was asked for my photo id (I was glad to see that, although I have known everyone in the place for years!)I was done in 5 minutes, too - straight Repub. Yeehaw.
