Limbaugh recorded calls for GOP
Posted on 11/06/2006 8:22:30 PM PST by SnakeIz
Quote surprised to receive a phone call last hour with a recorded message from Rush. Those of you that have listened to his show know he does not typically do direct call to action stuff. In the past he has only done so when Democrats have falsely claimed he told his listeners to do something, such as call Congress, and so he does it to show what it would be like had he actually done it. So I was very surprised to get a call of him.
The call was encouragement to go to the polls and "support the team" and vote for Republican candidates tomorrow. He cited judge appointments, taxes, Democrat liberal agenda among other things as reasons to go to the polls tomorrow.

Welcome to Free Republic. Hope you don't mind that some of us were sniffing you out. Some of the DU turds have been caught sneaking through our sewer lines. It's been pretty stinky around here lately but I think you passed the smell test.
SO WELCOME ABOARD!

I got a call from Rush tonight and I'm in Kansas. I am afraid the Ryun/Boyda race continues to be way to close for comfort!
Say a prayer for the 2nd District here.

Good idea, an mp3 would be great. Again, I wish my answering machine had picked it up. I'd have made one for everyone.</p>

I guess he recognizes the urgency of the situation and the desparation we would all feel with the first woman Speaker of the House being the wicked witch of Sodom & Gamorah!!! If he pulled the Republican's bacon out of the fire after all they've done that he doesn't approve of... I say more power to him!!!
But it's ok. We don't have to agree on this minor point. We could probably agree on 90% of other things...

No young ones around our house. If he was here, I'm sure my 10 year old nephew could do it. Gosh....now I feel old.

Hi ya Chena,
You can't possibly know the number of posts I have to correct before I hit "post" and then I usually miss some typos. I have another excuse too --- the letters on my keyboard have worn off and I need to paint them again. LOL
