I cannot imagine them gleeful come Wednesday morning. I just can't. I don't think they will be. I never thought so. But Kerry cinched it for me. I think we'll retain both houses.

I share your optimism there. Finding out the Dems won big would be like walking out my front door and seeing Charlie Brown flying his kite right after Lucy lets him kick the football.
Even if the Dems win a few seats, I think the majority will stay with the "good guys".
