An apparently educated father! :)

So perhaps John Kerry hadn't meant to insult our troops, but why would I be OK with him openly insulting our country's President in a time of war?

THAT is not a "joke" either. And haven't forgotten John Effin Kerry's history of despising our military and saying so outloud - "cut off limbs, tortured" "terorizing Iraqi women and children in the dead of night."

It seems to me that Johh Kerry was insulting both our Troops AND our President!

Even if Kerry reads it he will blame you instead of accepting what you said.

Kerry and his crew have to contort themselves every which way to try to avoid responsibility for his words.

Neary everyone that heard his original statement, especially those who truly support the troops, took his statement as an insult to the troops and he has NEVER taken responsibility for that insult.

And he never will. Taking responsibility is not part of his character.

Not from Robert. Bad news from Iraq, though. The Iraqi Government has cancelled all leaves due to the expected verdict from the Sadaam trial and the possible resulting violence. Not sure whether that involves U.S. troops or not. Praying NOT.

This is a sad state of affairs when our enemies are rooting for the Liberals in this country to take control of Congress so that they can defeat American. If you do get featured on Hannity- just tell Shawn that you represent all of us here when you told Kerry that he has been disrespectuful of his commander in Cheif- his superior, in a time of war and has caused derision in this country when our servicemen and women need a unified pipartisan support & that you're just fed up with the burining vitriol comming from the left. This country needs a powerful reminder that we should stand united, not divided during this war agaisnt terror- they got one on Sept. 11, & for the most part, we all spoke as one voice, but I'm afraid that soem in this country have VERY short memories and have lost the nerve to do the right thing by confronting terrorism. Cal Thomas just visitted Guantanamo to check out the conditions there and what he found was that the terrorists are treated with respect, given all kinds of perks that normal criminals in prison wouldn't receive, and yet, they still tell the guards that they are going to kill them if they ever get out & they assault our troops with feces, weapons made from scratch, other bodily fluids etc. America needs to understand that these people have ALWAYS hated us and want us dead and they ALWAYS will- treating them nicely will NEVER change their minds! Talks will ALWAYS lead to nothing but our getting hit by them when we least expect it! There is NO appeasing these maggots!

I phoned Kerry's office and asked for an apology "but moreso his resignation."
The woman who picked up after about 30 rings thanked me for calling and seemed a bit shaken as I think that there were many similar calls all coming in before 10 am.

By 5pm we know that Kerry cowardly had his office put up the weasly apology that was another condescending slap at the troops and a lame attempt to salvage his political future.

He has none.

And it was the least I could do on behalf of you, your son and the 10th Mountain!

Thank you for those words. Writing this letter while sitting at a keyboard with time to think out my words was easy. Being able to articulate under the pressure of the Congressional pressure cooker? Not sure I could manage that. I will thank my son on your behalf. Please thank yours from me and my family.

I send you a huge thank you for that phone call. By now Kerry must know that he isn't very well received among Americans who support our Constitution, our President, our Troops, and our Nation. He must be relieved that he's a Senator in Massachusetts. He now couldn't make it anywhere else but there and maybe New York or kalifornistan (where I am).
