A group of soldiers in the Minnesota National Guard is behind a comically misspelled sign mocking recent comments by Sen. John Kerry about people who didn't study in school being "stuck in Iraq."
The photo shows eight soldiers holding a white sign with heavy blue letters spelling out, "Halp us Jon Carry - We R stuck hear n Irak."
Marty Sayre, from St. Cloud, is the man between the "A" and the first "R" in Carry.
Sayre, a police seargent in St. Cloud, has been deployed for nearly a year Police Chief Dennis Ballantine said Thursday. Ballantine said the department learned of Sayre's presence in the photo when Sayre sent them an e-mail confirming as much Thursday morning. "He said it was (the photo) something they had put together for family and friends and that they had no idea it would spread like this," Ballantine said.

Jon Carry
Excellent idea!
My mistake--should have read more carefully!
thoze armi guyz weer purty stoopid, it be eyerack ... :)
I'll second the motion that from here on he will be known as "Jon Carry". Now, not only has he lost all credibility, but he also lost his name.
It should have been written more clearly - I read past it twice before I picked up on it. Bad choice of phrasing.
Actually the name given to Senator John Kerry, "Jon Carry" by the troops in Iraq is a fitting name. Kerry has "carried" the water for the commies his entire life.
