My father flunked out his first year at Princeton but went to another college.
All four years at the new college he was in the ROTC. He graduated in 68...volunteered for the Marine Corps...got his pilot's license and ended up driving F-4 Phantoms in Vietnam....mostly close air support.
He, and some others in his squadron, also ran an orphanige.
After Vietnam he got a masters in Psychology and ended up working as a counselor for many years at Focus on the Family.
Now he does missionary work in Kenya.
His college: Berkeley. His bachelors: Sociology.
Your father has quite a story. Can you tell more, please?
"His college: Berkeley. His bachelors: Sociology."
Moral: Not all sociologists from Berkeley are lost liberal idiots.
Mega Kudos to your Pop for a life well spent.
Do you know if they still have ROTC at Berkeley???
