Did Mass. really elect a Republican governor?
Oh, yes. MA elected Bill Weld, who talked a good game, but got bored with job. Paul Celucci inherited it and was elected himself, and got bored with job, leaving it to Acting Gov Jane Swift, who was a continual embarrassment. Then MA elected Mitt Romney, who is a decent man, but far too much of a wimp to copy with the petty crooks of the Dem legislature.
Yes. Several times in recent history. Looks like the Dem candidate for gov is going to win this one though, if polls are to be believed.
