I'm listening to this piece of crap now and it is pathetic! He knows perfectly well that he was insulting the troops and I'm getting a little tired of listening to these cut-and-run cowards put down anyone who didn't "wear the uniform" and claiming they have no right to speak against them. This from the same person who told us that Bill Clinton's draft dodging didn't matter and shouldn't be held against him. But those who would dare criticize him and haven't worn the uniform, now it's an issue. Hypocrite!
This is America, Mr. Kerry and all of us have free speech rights and if Rush Limbaugh or anyone who "hasn't worn the uniform" wants to take you to task for insulting the members of the Armed Forces, then they can, they will and they have the Constitution of this nation backing them up while they do it!
His phony, "botched joke" excuse is lame and I, a veteran who DID WEAR THE UNIFORM, am not buying it!! The Swift Boat Vets wore the uniform but he and his brain-dead supporters maligned their service! All depends if that uniform service is kissing the backside of the DemocRATS!
He just came out just as arrogant and condescending as ever. Guess we all shouldn't be at all surprised.
There have been several Vet groups that have already come out demanding an apology.....THEY certainly have worn the uniform.
