COUNTDOWN TO VICTORY
Sunday, Rovember 5, 2006
Diana, Bob, Tori, Frank and Ali attended church. Tori and Ali performed in the music program.
Ali had returned from her secret location in DC Saturday night.
Team Irey met at the office for the final leg of the RV Tour of the district. Diana and Ali were doing the traveling today. My apologies for failing to mention that Frank and Tori were with the tour yesterday with their Mom and Dad. Ali, as previously mentioned, was in Washington, DC.
Our first stop was the Kittanning Wal-Mart. The very large Diana for Congress banner was deployed down the side of the RV. The location was wonderful, since it was at the top of a hill and the banner was visible from the roadway.
As Diana greeted and visited with the many supporters that came out to visit, the younger crowd waved signs. They were treated to a cacophony of honks, waves and thumbs up, much to their delight.
Operation Windshield Wash was being performed by other volunteers. Dianas Fight Song was being played in the RV for those that wanted to hear it. People saw the giant banner from the highway and stopped by to meet their candidate.
Speaking of Dianas Fight Song it can now be seen at the following blogs:

Military Families Voice of Victory
I would like to take this opportunity to thank these fine blogs for their support and for posting Dianas Fight Song. We appreciate their help on spreading the word
Okay everyone, back on the bus.!
Team Irey continued their journey, arriving at the New Kennsington Giant Eagle. Once again, the banner was deployed which attracted additional folks stopping by and asking is she really here? They were greeted by a huge smile and/or a hug from Diana.
The Operation Windshield folks were busy cleaning up the area windshields before making coffee and snack runs. We then began the trip home, arriving back at the office around 6:30.
