There's been some trouble in the state with the new voting machines along with other problems. Worst is in the Philly area...of course. Problem for the Dems is, this time they're being watched.
Thanks.
The good new is: It's kinda chilly in the district, with scattered showers, and rain is forecast for this evening.

The average republican will say: ""I gotta go out and vote."
The average liberal Dem will ask himself if it is really worth getting that uncomfortable. The fewer liberal Dems that show up, the better.
Voter turn-out is projected at 60% or higher. We'll bet a chance to see if the numbers Gary and I came up with were in the neighborhood...
Any sense about turn-out? In my heavily Dem neck of the woods, I 'm fortunate to have a Repub Congresswoman (due to a trans-county gerrymander). I figured the moonbats would be out in force, but turn out has been very light. Of course my polling place is barely a speck in the big picture. Still, I was pleasantly surprised. The Dems up here don't seem particularly aroused.
Wow!!!.... The first one reported in!....Thanks lurker!..
Is that 60 percent way above average, Bones?
Wonderful!!!!
Good news, so far-BUMP
So how is this race going. I don't recall even seeing polling data on it?
Average for mid-terms around the nation is around 40% or less. Some districts always do above 50%, though.
This year, voter turn-out is going to be huge. It really wouldn't surprise me if voter turnout around the nation is equal to most Presidential elections.
This is why I worked the numbers for Irey based on a 60% turn-out model.
If voter turnout in the 12th district happens to be higher than 70%, things get a bit iffy for her, but 70% turn-out in that district has never been heard of...
Thanks, 4year!
I'm not in the area, I'm in California.....
Sorry, you're all the way across the country...
Irey publicly says that she's at 50%. The last poll anyone knows of was done a month ago and had her down 10%.
Of course, if you believe the polls this year, yer going to in for quite a surprise on Wednesday morning...
So far, no word that polling stations in the 12th are swamped. Let's hope the Dems are proven to be, once again, slackers when it counts.
In that district, I'd expect most of the polls to be busier in the evening.
All we can do now is to wait...and tough it out...and see if anymore FReepers from the area can clue us in.
Thanks!
Thanks for the report and your good feelings. Us that are stuck far away appreciate getting those updates.
