Ever try to soothe the nightmares of a kid who saw the poster-sized, dismembered baby photos at a Pro-Life rally? Ever spend hours on end trying to convince a woman not to commit suicide after the enormity of her actions settles in months or years after the fact? It's a little more serious than a childhood nightmare.

I had a friend in college who had an abortion, and was so torn up with grief, she got pregnant right away to make up for the baby she killed. She was an emotional wreck.

A woman walking into an abortion clinic to have her baby sucked from her womb is making an adult choice, one that her dear feminist sisters fought long and hard for. Information on abortion, fetal development and the potential complications and depression is available at the push of a button. "I didn't know" just doesn't seem like a good excuse anymore.
