Glad it caught your attention. I'd been assured these folks were mellowing-out, but now I'm convinced they're as nucking futs as ever.
You seem comfortable with psychological terms. You might find Prof. Harlan Lane's professional droppings of interest, in the way that a train-wreck is of interest. He's at Northeastern University and has been featured on "60 Minutes". Happy Googling!

My experience is that we have not been involved with these way militant deaf. So I've been lucky.
My other experience is that I do agree with you on Harlan Lane - and I heard HE doen'st even sign.
