<<< The truth is that this government is not functioning. It is dysfunctional, in point of fact......It's failing to secure our borders .... >>>
Lou is right on the money there.

Wrong. The boarders haven't been "secure" in fifty years. The truth is every administration has dropped the ball on this. At least republicans are firming up resistance to amnesty and working towards closing the door on more illegals coming in. If this "government" is dysfunctional so were the last ten administrations. The dems and media are trying to paint a picture of total incompetence. it is absolutely not true.

Dobbs and Buchanan are now best buddies. That tells me all I need to know.

It would be a very dangerous precedent for this administration to make charges against CNN.
While justified, it would be characterized much the same way as when the klinton cronies threatened ABC with regard to Path to 9/11.
It's up to us to let CNN know what we thought of their playing the terror propaganda tape.
Further, Duncan Hunter did an excellent job of letting them know that they don't deserve to be embedded with our troops in Iraq.

The nineteen hijackers entered the country legally. Some of them broke the law while here and yet nothing was done to deport them.
Some overstayed their visas and they too were left to do as they wished.
There are millions of people here who entered on student visas, visito visas, and have been here for decades.
This didn't just happen. INS has long looked away when it came to border matters. Doris Meissner was slick willie's willing pawn. She allowed millions to enter this country without proper background checks so they could vote for the dems.

Lou often describes the administration of George W. Bush and the Republican-controlled Congress as "disgraceful." At the same time he has argued voters have very little choice under the US two party system as both parties are controlled by big business and corporate interests making them almost one and the same and thus do not offer real debate or policy alternatives to ordinary Americans. I don't see what he's wrong about here, but its enough to get you labeled a traitor to America by some on this website.
