It diminishes all of us when either side boycotts.

It is not a boycott, The scientific side of this debate has been told, by the owner of this website, no less.

That we add nothing to the conservative movement, and in a nutshell, are not welcome here.

This is not a boycott, it is stay away from where you are not welcome.

It has been said, in no uncertain terms, that the scientific literates are not welcome here, or within FR's conservative movement. Why remain some place that does not welcome you?

That is, indeed, unfortunate. As a physical chemist, whose career was spent in semiconductrs and microstuctures R&D (and with a smattering of patents to show for it all) I have never felt unwelcome anywhere on FR.

OTOH, as a Christian, I suppose you could say that I "have a foot in both worlds".

Better yet, I say that there is only one 'Creation' -- with no substantive divide between its spiritual and physical aspects. -- and that I am in wonder and awe at the whole.

I haven't "hung around" these threads regularly enough of late to have detected the departure of 'regular voices', but, if that has occurred, we are all diminished by it...
